Of course it is, but that’s just one of its many facets. Design can save time, money and one’s sanity. It can simplify use, enhance enjoyment, and keep us safe and well. I believe the National Design Policy can help to tangibly illustrate design’s value and help to keep it from being reduced to an afterthought…"

Ok, I really want one of these! I even tried to take up knitting so I could make my own! But it turns out I sort of suck at knitting. It takes a lot more patience than I have and it’s waaaay too tedious for me. I thought it might be a nice way to sort of relax, you know, with this repetitive, constant action and what not. But I kept making mistakes and missing stitches and ending up with a bunch of holes, which in the end just made me really annoyed and fed up and made me start over…really not relaxing.
So, now I’m back to just wishing I had one of these…
