How insanely badass is this picture? GIANT KNITTING? Really? And add to that the fact that it’s in service to the greater good of bringing awareness about the life-cycle of materials and sustainability and the power of conservation and design - icing on the awsomeness cake.
The artist is Christien Meindertsma, from Holland, and the exhibit, Design for a Living World, just opened at the Cooper Hewitt National Design Museum in New York.
